John McCrea has been with Alderman Machine
for 17 years. John is an ASE Certified
Master Machinist with over 29 years
experience. He learned the trade at Steve
Kanuika Speed Shop before coming to our
shop. He can help design an engine
combination and then perform all machining
steps necessary to assemble a winning
engine. John has helped many of our
customers win races and set new records.
John has raced a Sportsman Dirt Modified and
asphalt Modified in southeastern PA and New
Jersey He also enjoys racing motocross and
four-wheeling with his family.
‘Marty’ McHugh has been working at Alderman
Machine for over 8 years. His own experience
of building and drag racing his own
vehicles, as well as crewing on his
brother’s Pro/Mod car, brings a well rounded
perspective to the machine shop. He uses
this knowledge in the cylinder head
department and working with motorcycle
engines. Marty just finished a very
successful foray into the world of karting.
Paul Ferguson has been with Alderman’s for 5
years. He picks up and delivers our jobs
to our customers as well as helping to keep
things flowing in the shop. Paul brings over
40 years of experience serving our country
in the Army National Guard. Paul enjoys
watching drag racing and going to car shows
in his 1991 Camaro convertible.
Ron Walker has returned to the machining
profession in 2005. He has become a welcome
addition to the cylinder head department.
Ron has been working with Bob in the high
performance department on everything from
basic work to complete cylinder head
reconstruction. Ron spends his spare time
working on motocross bikes for local racers,
and he even gets in some riding himself.
